She completed her MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from IMS, BHU, Varanasi (1993). After that she served U.P. state service for 5 to 7 years. In 2001 She joined Kasturba Medical College(Manipal, Karnataka) as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor & served there as teaching faculty till Dec 2016. However, for last 10 years she is staying North India & serving many medical college as faculty.

- Fellowship – Bariatric & metabolic surgery, Laser (2013).
- Fellowship &b Diploma – Minimal access surgery (2016)
- Like time membership ASI, IMA & Association of minimal access surgeon.
Experience :- During journey of 34 years she served as CMO (UP), faculty in various medical colleges as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor & Head of department, taught national & international students(in MAHE- Manipal Academy of Higher Education). Published many papers (> 20), Journals (including lancet); attended many CMEs. She is continually acquiring recent knowledge & honing her skills. Published many papers & attended various CME’s(Related to endoscopy, laparoscopy, robotic surgery). She takes active part in activities intuitional work.
