पिम्स हॉस्पिटल में बिना ओपन हार्ट सर्जरी के ह्रदय का छेद का सफल उपचार

उदयपुर। पेसिफिक इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मेडिकल साइंसेज, पिम्स हॉस्पिटल, उमरड़ा में चिकित्सकों ने बिना ओपन हार्ट सर्जरी के ह्रदय का छेद बंदकर बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल की है।
पिम्स के चैयरमेन आशीष अग्रवाल ने बताया कि पिम्स हॉस्पिटल में चिकित्सकों ने एक मरीज का बिना चीरफाड़ के ह्रदय का छेद बंद किया है। मरीज का इलाज चिरंजीवी योजना के तहत निशुल्क किया गया। डॉ. महेश जैन और उनकी टीम ने ह्रदय में जन्मजात छेद (पेटेंट डुक्टस आर्टेरिओसुस) को बंद करने के लिये पीडीए डिवाइस क्लोजर सर्जरी की। श्री अग्रवाल ने बताया कि सामान्यत: जन्म के कुछ महीने के बाद ह्रदय की दोनों मुख्य धमनियोंं के बीच मार्ग स्वत: बंद हो जाता है लेकिन किसी-किसी केस में ऐसा नहीं होता और वह मार्ग खुला रह जाता है। इसे सामान्य भाषा में दिल में छेद होना तथा मेडिकल भाषा में पीडीए कहा जाता है।
डॉ. महेश जेन ने बताया कि इस विकार से ग्रस्त लोगों को तेज चलने, सीढ़ी चढऩे के दौरान सांस फूलने, चक्कर आने, कमजारी महसूस होने की समस्या होती है तथा इनका शारीरिक विकास सामान्य लोगों की अपेक्षा कम होता है। पीडीए में डिवाइस क्लोजर तकनीक से दिल के छेद को बंद किया जाता है। पीडीए डिवाइस क्लोजर एक छतरीनुमा डिवाइस होता है जिसमें दो छतरियां तथा बीच में एक नलिकानुमा हिस्सा होता है। इसे एक नली के रूप में ह्रदय के छेद तक पहुंचाया जाता है। सर्जरी और बाकी प्रक्रिया कॉर्डियोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. महेश जैन, कॉर्डिक एनेथेस्टिक डॉ. विपिन सिसोदिया, सीटीवीएस सर्जन डॉ. विवेक रावत, नोनिवेसिव कॉर्डियोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. उमेश स्वर्णकार ने की।
